Fitting Your First OI Hermle or LUCI Connector: Implant System Basics, Troubleshooting, and Alignment Techniques

This two-hour course offers practicing prosthetists an in-depth overview of the OTN Luci and Hermle Osseointegration connector systems. It aims to equip the practitioner with the knowledge to confidently assess, order, and fit these systems for both new and existing osseointegration patients. Additionally, the course will provide the background knowledge needed to discuss these systems effectively with surgeons and to set realistic patient expectations.

Please join us to learn about the Extreme Limb Makeover (ELM) System. ELM brings the patented INESS system to in-house fabrication with a simple kit that can be used for any level. Participants will learn to fabricate multi-durometer silicone flexible inner liners bonded to socket frames for improved comfort and functionality. The course covers the science of fabrication, hands-on techniques for in-house rolled silicone socket production. We aim to equip clinicians and technicians with the tools to enhance prosthetic solutions offered to their patients.
